This Trophy's Moving to a New Case!

After a year and a half search for a new house, we finally found one two streets over from where we currently live! I had been eyeing the house for quite some time even before it was on the market; even conspiring to go harass the owners in hopes that they would move. Luckily I didn't have to sink to that...I promise! Steve and I looked at the house before Christmas and decided to hold off on making any offers until after the holidays. Of course being as inpatient as I am, I was pestering Steve to let us put an offer in the day after New Years ; ) But Steve in his infinite wisdom, said we should hold off a little longer until our house was closer to being ready to put on the market. I begrudgingly agreed that that made the most sense. Another week passed and I was quietly growing inpatient. Little did I know that Steve and our realtor were already in negotiations with the seller. On the morning of my birthday, as we were still laying in bed, Steve presented me with an envelope. Inside was a picture of the house with the words "We're Moving!" I was shocked and still am! I can't believe that Steve did all legwork and negotiating! I can't believe a year and a half of bitching about wanting a new house finally paid off! Persistence ladies!

In all seriousness, we waited a long time searching for the right house and I think this is the one! I also waited a long time to find the right man, and I KNOW Steve is the one! I am one LUCKY LADY!
